So far, up to the moment of writing this post, only $390.00 was contributed to the Elder Negus fund, according to reports from Ras George. In my next post, I will release the names of those who contributed, and the amount each person contributed. Iwas informed by Ras George, that some of the money came in cash and some in checks. We are now in the process of depositing the total amount into the bank, in the account of the Iniversal Development of Rastafari Inc.(IDORI) so that the checks will be cleared in the banks, since we intend to send the total amount of $390.00 to Elder Negus, in the middle of November, by an official of the Shashamane Community Foundation, who will be going to Ethiopia, to pay attention to some Educational and Community business, which is related to the Shashamane School, with which we are working on a regular basis. If there is anyone who wishes to make a contribution to the fund, they can still do so, especially those are yet to fulfill their pledges.

When this fund is removed from this forum, we may have to start another fund, which is really needed, to help us to finish the construction, of the women living quarters, which we have started, and which foundation have already been laid, and is out of the ground in building blocks, but has been stalled now for a while, because of lack of funds. In addition, there is this water tank, which is also under construction, to be utalized as a catchment for water, when the big rains fall in Ethiopia, so that water can be stored, and make it easier for our people, when the droughts come along. Ethiopia is very much gifted for droughts. These are two very vital projects with great priorities, so if we all manage to multiply, our self determination and our community considerations, then we can make this sacrifice a priority, and contribute, to the total construction of these very needed projects, as an African race of people. I have to prepare to go to class right now, but I am looking forward to hearing from you all.
