Each day as each of us live from day to day, we become another day older, than the day before. Those people who are now elders, were very young some time in their life, but as time pass from day to day, people pass from day to day, and also grow older from day to day. It is a great blessing for an elder to be able to live to be ninety years of age, and to be able to think, and have the desire, to return to the blessed land of his fore parent, that is nothing but greatness.
Let me say, that through the powers of this great universe, Elder Negus I hope will be going home to Ethiopia sooner if not later. If it is ordained for him to go home, he will surely go home to the land of Ethiopia. However, it would have been a very good and generous deed, if more of you intellectuals on this forum, would have chosen, to recieve the blessings of sharing with this great elder, who have built many social and cultural Rastafari movement bridges, upon which you are all walking today.
Our great Ancestors teaches, that we are only once an adult, but twice a child. As we live from day to day, each of us becomes a day older each day. Those days adds up to years and years and years. Each of us will become an elder some day, if we are blessed to live long enough. As each of us grows older, we become less active, and after a while, there are things which we used to do for ourselves, which we are not able to do. As time marches on and pass, so does people marches on and pass away. Once an adult twice a child, means that things which we used to be able to do for ourselves, we are not able to do them any more, and each of us may reach that stage some sweet days.
When Elder Negus gets home, it will take him some time to get use to the place, this is a place where at least 80 languages are spoken. We would therefore like him to have some money, to be able to buy basic necessities, until he is able to do whatever he can do to help their selves, with the help of other brethren and sistren who are already there in Ethiopia. If you make a donation to this project, you will be fulfilling the Ethiopian prayer, let the sick be nourished, the hungry be fed, the naked be clothe, the AGED BE PROTECTED, and the infants be cared for. Elder Negus is like an infant again in some ways, so he must be care for, and since he his full of age, the aged must be protected. Please think about this reasoning and make a donation to Elder Negus.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere
