The ancestralists mind their own business. And they never turn away these pastors when they come to them late at night for medicine to make them more charismatic etc.

The truth is that it's not the poor and ignorant who still adhere to some of these mystical religious systems. It is the rich, powerful and sophisticated, the ones who crave power over others and live in fear of their business/political rivals, who go to the witchdoctor and will do anything, even if it means having sex with their own daughter on a grave or inducing insanity in the child of the least favourite ( often the first) wife.
