Re: Ancestralism and Christianity in Zimbabwe

It is good that you respect the right of Africans to choose their own religion, because this is the position of ancestralism as has been explained to me by those devotees I have questioned.

It is certain elements of Christianity- of the evangelical/pentecostal persuasion who have fought against not only the ancestralists, but us Rastafarians, Muslims, Jews, and also the different Christian denominations. Small wonder that on my website I devoted much space to exposing their Illuminati links.

In Zimbabwean culture generally, we respect the right of people to have their own religion. When we have functions, it is the norm to have several buffets, to cater for the kosher, halal etc. And you will find people will ask about the rites of your faith so that say some misfortune befalls you while you are among them they can ensure that they get someone to administer them.
