I am for us Rastafarians progressing and strengthening ourselves first. The experience of Rastafarians in countries like Zimbabwe will show you that this is imperative. We suffered under the colonial regime, we suffer under the present Black Nationalist regime.

The building of a Rastafarian people is underway in Zimbabwe. We make less noise about it, because we are a pragmatic and practical people. Away from public scrutiny, I can see us emerge stronger from the crisis that engulfs my country today.
