Greetings Ayinde
I do not call a person with locs a Rastafari just because he/she has locs. There are Rastafari who do not have locs. As we know, locs are now a fashion thing along with the red, gold, and green apparel.
I am speaking of ones in which if you spent the day in their counsel, you will know that they were not a mere fashion dread....but a dreadlocked Rasta.
I will not go into the criteria for a Rastafari person since there is no one consensus on it.
Give thanks for the question.
