Re: Different Types Of Rasta
In Response To: Re: Different Types Of Rasta ()

to me Rasta is a form of identity, to the best of my knowledge Ras comes from some language in the middle east,or Horn of Africa meaning King or Prince.
Marcus Garvey talks of knowing yourself, and if I was from this part of the world. It would be important for me to have knowledge of my origin.
Bob Marley used Rasta to acknowledge support for his homeland. To educate everyone about where they come from.
There is much more to the Rasta movement.
The main point I am trying to say here is Rasta
Comes from Africa.
Ras Tafari is from the same family, as King David.
If you call yourself a Rasta, I recomend that you study the living works of Haile Selassie I.
There is so much I want to say about Ras Tafari.
Up to this time in my life I have kept most of my conversation about Rasta to myself. Trying to overstand and live a Right, and Truthful way.
That is what Rasta is to me. I hope that Ras Tafari agrees.

LOVE Mark
E-Mail me, I LOVE to reason.
