Re: Education the Key
In Response To: Re: Education the Key ()

InI have known about the half truths and slanted agendas for a long time, but no changes have taken place. History books or the way His-story has been taught NEEDS to change, but how. People in the postion to make change (black and white) need to place this high on the priority list if we want to see things improve. There are a lot of whites walking around with a false sense of superiority because of these his-story lessons while there are a lot of blacks walking around with a false sense of inferiority because of the same lesson. InI am not a politician, but those with ties or contacts in power need to start pushing their buttons. I am a Health teacher and believe it or not I manage to get Black History information out to my students. InI hope that they hear and spread the word, but we need more and must get more. It is our rights at human beings to be told the truth.
