'religio' as much as i know means something like 're-joined', in the sense of rejoining a natural flow, very much meaning the same as 'yoga', which once has been interpreted to me also as 'non-resistance' ( though this can easily be misunderstood )
it's very personal
doctrines and their supervising churches are instruments of power, monopolizing the answers of fundamental human questions which can only be answered by yourself.
