"Thatcher faces probing day in court"

A camera-shy Mark Thatcher avoided a large media contingent at Wynberg police station on Wednesday when he arrived to sign the bail register for the first time.

According to his R2-million bail conditions, Thatcher has to sign the bail book in the charge office daily.

But there was much media confusion when the son of former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher drove straight past the constabulary when he noticed the press contingent.
