"WMD arrests in South Africa"

TWO men have been arrested in South Africa under laws relating to the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction, police told the SAPA news agency today.

The arrests came as charges were withdrawn against a South African businessman arrested last week for his alleged links to a global nuclear smuggling ring.
