Rastafarians as a collective have no intention of returning to or investing in Africa in the near future. Most, in my opinion would prefer an American or Uropean passport. You don't even see Africans from the Diaspora as tourist in Africa.
I think we talk a good game about Africa - but have little intention of puttin in work in the Mama land. I talked to a JA reggae artist last week, who in every other tune proclaims his deep love for Africa, but he needs 20K, 8 first class flight and 5 star hotels to perform in Kenya. Love for Africa with a price tag attached.
