Sacred, not Scared: Pagan Halloween Truths

Well today is a typical example of how “New Age” Religion, and when I say new age I mean the one that has been on Earth only a mere 2,000 years, has flipped so-called “pagan” spirituality into demonized and spooky shenanigans. As many of us know, today is called Hallowe’en or Hallowed’s Evening. This is because the Godfathers of Christianity (The Holy Roman Catholic Church/Empire) positioned All Saints’ Day conveniently a day after what pagans considered a very sacred time in Nature (Samhain).

In fact, every “holiday” established by the Church/West was intentionally scheduled near or on previouly recognized heathen/pagan celebrations that acknowledged Natural phenomena. For example, Christmas was declared 3 days after the Winter Solstice in the tradition of the pagan Yuletide. Easter was declared to be the first SUN-day after the first full-moon after the Vernal (Spring) Equinox (Eostre).

What made this a very sacred time of year is that this is the harvest. The harvest marks the gathering of mature vegetation AND its death also. So in essence, this marks the “death” of Nature from a human perspective. Since before Scripts and Texts clouded man’s overstanding of Nature, it was easy to observe and be aware of weather patterns and Earth cycles. Ones sighted the fact that the Earth was shutting down her nutritional provision for plants, somewhat retracting her nipple of sustenance back into her bosom. This is why there is such a fixation with death during Halloween because it accurately does represent a time of agricultural and Solar dying. This is the beginning of the “dark” half of the year. And darkness has been affiliated with evil, death and destruction since environmentally, Europe and other areas out of Afrika experienced brutal conditions at the hands of Nature.

So the reality of the Sun’s energy waning and the days becoming shorter, made it easy for humans to acknowledge the source of these changes coming by way of Solar cycles. That is why Yuletide (new age=christ mass) was so significant because after the Sun reaches its lowest point on December 21, it is born "in a manger” (the zodiac with animals) (December 24)...and 3 months later, Nature rises from the dead (“born again”) with the “resurrection” of vegetation, our consumptive savior...later copied as Easter.

But anyhow, Halloween or “Samhain” represented the time when it was believed that the gates between the living and the non-living were opened. It was considered the blessings of Ancestor spirits within the Earth that provided the harvest. Let us remember that just as with Afrikans, ancient Europeans/Druids sighted that the spirits of the departed, who are today seen as sources of hauntings or dread were (before Christianity) seen as sources of guidance and inspiration. The deceased were honored and feasted not as “dead” but as LIVING spirits of loved ones and guardians of roots/wisdom.

Seeing that these celebrations could not be dissolved, the Catholic Church simply established their own celebration of “crossed-over spirits” (all saints) the very next day. With a little research, one will find that many if not ALL religious celebrations are simply criticized, copied and claimed ancient Afrikan/pagan celebrations.

The use of “pagan”, “heathen”, “satanic”, “evil”, and “spooky” code-words, scare-tactics and mind-blocks are to keep the masses from sniffing around for Truth.

So it is not the fact the Halloween does not encompass ghosts and corpses, it is the fact that ghosts and corpses did not hold connotations of evil and dread.

More western spin-doctoring.

BOO!!!
