You said: "What I remember, is one specific exchange, during which the question was asked "What makes you, as a white person, qualified to teach Black youths", which went unreplied. I can't say that I remember the sequence of posts that led up to that."
* What you remember and stated could imply that we were promoting white people teaching Black youths (I am not saying you meant that). This is something we consistently totally object to. I once stated on this board that of all the whites I met SHE was the first one to see the INAPPROPRIATENESS of whites teaching Blacks about Black History. She actually did something about that by asking us to interact with her students.
You said: "I'm not trying to be an impediment to what I sense that y'all are about. I may BE an impediment, but I really ain't TRYING to be one."
* That is the reason I said:
"They were tolerated because WE felt they did not know better, and WE allowed them time to wake up." Once we are convinced that people are deliberately being obscene we respond differently.
You asked: "Just now, I said that Ghana will win the whole funkin world cup this year. Is that unacceptable or not?"
* We should not have to remind anyone about the laws to get them to respect our guidelines. You should know that 'obscene language' is illegal in Caribbean countries. Websites with 'obscene language' are also given an adult rating, thereby limiting the reach of these websites. That does not serve our interest.
You are one of the more articulate posters on this board so you could EASILY do better.
The fact that no moderator takes you on about the questionable language you use at times only means that you are technically not breaking the rules. It does not mean we have an ideal situation.
