Anyway you are entitled to your opinion.
I know you like reggae music, so I suggest you listen to the poem "Di Great Inshorekshan" by Linton Kwesi Johnson, it is historical fact and it is how people establish their rights.
Villepin in France backed down on the CENTRAL policy he was trying to push, and it wasn't because of people reading gandhi down under.
Would you try to discourage the real Australians from standing up for their rights in your blood-soaked disgrace of a "country", if any of their actions proved "violent"?
Like Malcolm X said, white people need to be encouraging white people to be non-violent.
If there's a problem with violence amongst Black people, it's that we too violent to one another, and not violent enough to "the Other" (as an anthropologist you should be familiar with that term... was that a "nasty" remark?)
