I agree with Gman.

Rosa Parks was not the first to be forced to give up her seat and refuse.

She was just the one chosen to be publicized for it.

I am sure certain ones saw it as an advantage to do so because she was light.

But, I have no problem with her being honored even though there have been plenty other Black people who should also be honored for their works.
