Re: In search of balance
In Response To: Re: In search of balance ()

A seasoned Ras midwife and RN did warn against total subscription to what the author said by suggesting the following:

"I know this brother personally. Many years ago, at least 20+ I had a consultation with him. I don't subscribe to everything he says and this is one of them. Truly women should not bleed excessively but one to two drops is not true. I remember as a young girl I had lots of dysmenorrhea and bled for about 7 days. Once I changed my diet at 19 yo, I saw it go from 5 to 3 to the point where I didn't even need a pad all I had to do was wipe myself. However it was greater than a pea drop. He does not know of the strength and mysteries around womens health. I've been in this business long enough to know that there is no one recipe for everyone. There are general guidelines but we are all uniquely made by Goddess and as such will never be replicated. "

Now, Dr. Afrika's excerpt was chosen to illustrate how extensive is the issue of reparation. There's no doubt that black people's psyche is in disrepair and a collective effort must be patiently set in motion toward healing. His/her physico-mental faculty should be in balance in order to rebuild a glorious civilization
