You said: " I'm jsut trying to understand . . . Are you saying that since most white people are caught up in benefits from the system and thus defend it, that a white person with "pro-black" views does not make an impact and it is a waste of energy? "
Iyah 360,
Pro black white people usually find black standards "attractive,” if it so it is fruitless and completely unnecessary to allow them to uphold our programs because they define our people by myths. You know how I am both weary and wary of white people who speak or allude too much to pro black ideas. Religious or anything else, a little sincerity doesn't hurt...I don't like white women (or men) treating blacks as specimen for jungle fever, for sole escapism, and pleasure.
Usually, we are considered worthy if we are a paradigm for escapism in the West, most blacks are not "beautiful" or "human" if we are not "indigenous" or "folkloric," and then those who are not gosh they are so out of their track.
I am wary of white people who put down too many pro black ideas, or elevate blacks to indigenous folk status on account of their escapism matter. You see, we cannot be defined as black folklore... blacks have be looked deeply, and with all we are about, until whites come to do that pro black white people cannot be a solution to our problems.
