I don't know much about it but from what I know Muhammad was a much more respectable character than a lot of his so-called 'followers' today. Interestingly enough, he was very progressive for his time in his attitudes to women (saying they can inherit property, have certain guaranteed rights, etc.) As was Christ. But many so-called followers of these people have somehow twisted this into the idea that women are inferior or evil.
Just like Christianity and Judaism, Islam has been used as an excuse for slavery, downpression and power-hungry mentalities. They still enslaving us in Sudan. Victory to the SPLA, kill all slavemasters regardless of what their so-called 'religion' is, chop they rass up in little pieces and set 'em on fire.
Oh, and freedom for the Palestinians is a must.
It ain't about what your 'religion' is, it's about who is oppressed and who is the oppressor.
