agreed, though the media highlights very little here in the states regarding racism and would much rather sweep it under the rug whenever these points are raised, even if addressed by a white let alone a light skin. the media is part and parcel of the problem.
when over the years light ones have been accused of not being up on issues or not being "black" enough, ones begin to study and oftentimes simple observation in ones own surroundings can teach a whole heap.

speaking firmly on an issue, especially one as sensitive as colorism within the black experience, does not nesscessarily translate to dominating the reasoning. i have no hatred for myself nor my parents and i do agree with you that leadership of Black Afrikan organizations or depictions in any form of film or media in this time be spearheaded by dark skinned individuals, only this can counter the opposite polemics we are now bombarded with, for the sake of the youth and ignorant adults. drastic situations call for next solutions. leadership complexion maybe a humble start but we must never forget that much like beauty,...it's only skin deep.
