"SA, Nigeria out to strengthen economic ties"

Moves to foster greater economic and political co-operation between South Africa and Nigeria are being intensified after the sixth session of the bi-national commission, in which high-powered delegations from the two countries are taking part, was opened in Durban on Thursday.

The opening of the commission between the two countries, which is taking place at the Durban's International Conference Centre, was attended by an array of South African government ministers, including Transport Minister Jeff Radebe and Public Enterprise Minister Alec Erwin.
