Re: A Question of Phenotype - Part II

Greetings Rose,

Please overstand that I like you did more reading than posting on this site for sometime. I like you also had a point of view that I wished to express. What many have come to realize (myself now included) is that if the view is opposing it is immediately attacked by the moderators no matter how the view is approached. Djehuti initially questioned the use of the word negroid and presented why the use of the word is no longer a valid term from his perspective. This was truly done very raspectfully, however the response was an attack. He then questioned why the attack and continued to ask questions regarding the use of the term supported by again his perspective. Once again he was attacked. He was then told by another moderator in support of the use of the term to stick to the point of the post. This appears to have become a regular practice of the moderators along with a teaming up against those who oppose their view. As a result of these things Djehuti has now become frustrated because reasonable questions asked have never been answered. I for One have not seen where he has slandered anyOne. His persistance for answers to his questions just merely annoy the moderators and they in turn appear to show lack of tolerance for those who do not agree with their views. Agian I say cause and effect.

There is an art to reasoning. The greatest example on this board would be Ras Marcus. As an elder he has crafted reasoning as it should be and this is not only because he is an elder. It is because he uses Love as his foundation. When reasoning gets to the point that Love no longer exist and the ego takes over, reasoning then becomes the battle ground of the wills. I myself fell victim to it which resulted in my last post in part one of this thread being full of sarcasm.

I am saying this to show that these reasons are why most of the moderator's post, which are usually intellectually based however enlightening for the most part, fail to reach the level of reasoning that they aquire to acheive. They start out with more intent than Love. Even if Love enters the discussions Love is eventually dismissed because the need for the ego to drive a point home is more important than reasoning along with opposing views. And sadly enough the likkle demon ego starts to infect those who being attacked by those who are determined to make their point. Thus the ego then becomes a method of control.

Just my humble opinion

I am sorry to hear that you live in a community that still refers to Africans as negro. What do the Africans there refer themselves as? Where do you hail?

Blessed Love
