Re: The Significance of African History (Score: 1) by marechera on Thursday, November 09 @ 11:56:01 UTC (User Info | Send a Message) | excellent points! i would, however, suggest that you take note to the consideration, if not fact, that there is only one race--the human race. this, of course, does not mean that there is no racism, but it makes it clear that colonialism and all of the other "isms" were based on exploitation of African labor; it also disqualifies arguments that poverty in Africa and its diaspora is in fact the product, and legacy, of the aforementioned--colonialism. |
