You have touched on my heart of hearts. My personal continual lesson/journey is to realise that His hand, the Father's is covering me still. As it was then in that time of physical journeyings abroad so it is now. I have to now get to know my humble home again but with this new perspective and learned insights. Sometimes though the trappings of the world which I have invertenly taken make me a stranger amongst my people. Not everyone has to or wants to leave.
I can sit on my favourite rock and look seaward at the curve of the horizon, see the ferry disappear over it. People are coming and going daily.
With the world being in such turmoil many displaced persons are finding their way here seeking sanctuary and a safer way of life, a new life.
So I have many new friends amongst them, people from Africa - Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Eygpt, and Afganistan etc.
Kind of ironic as the colonialists set out to destroy our original African Black Indigenous people and now Africa is populating the islands again. I love it.
As you say, the journey of life continues.
Many thanks, Judah
