Well, I looked well into my Amaric Dictionary, but I did not find the word Makuriya, niether did I find the word prestigeous. I did find the word prestige and the Amaric word for it is Keber. The word Prestige did not extend to presitigeous in the Amaric Dictionary. Some African words are not yet written in books, they are just spoken language. There are many languages spoken in Ethiopia, it could be from one of the spoken languages. The journey of live continues. Take the best care of yourself and your people.
Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere. ONE BLACK HEART ONE BLACK LOVE
Baba Ras Marcus.
