"My question is if Menen is to be hailed up just to tokenly fit the balance of male/female or is she to be hailed up on her OWN divinity."
If it is not genuine then it serves no purpose other than lip service and sooting ones's conscious. To I, divinity is oneness/fullness/"perfection". One can not acknowledge one aspect without acknowledging the other. Again that would not be a genuine representation of divinity/fullness. Hence, imbalance.
"And if based on her own divinity, what evidence or prophecy is there of her divinity...other than being the woman HIM married?"
I dont think there has to be any prophecy announcing anyone's divinity. That is Judeo-Christian notions. All we have to do is look at the work that Menen Asfaw did for the people of Ethiopia, particularly, women. She did good works in her own right but InI know that no one is an island, no one stands alone.
