Rastafari Speaks

If he was smart, he would refuse the award

This decision cheapens, or should I say, "exposes" the Nobel Peace Prize and the Committee in my opinion. When I think of Nobel Peace Prize winners, I think of people like MLK, Mother Theresa, Dalai Lama, etc. I think of people who have livicated and lost their lives to their cause of helping humanity.

Obama was nominated two weeks after being elected President. A year prior, he was a virtual unknown, internationally. The fix was obviously on.

It reminds me how sgt. Raymond Shaw, in the "Manchurian Candidate" was given the medal of honor for something he had not done.

President Obama is obviously being propped up. I dont overstand why his handlers would do something so blatant like allowing him to receive the Nobel Peace Prize at this time.

I kinda makes him look like a lame duck.

Europeans are putting Obama on the spot. Now he has to live up to European expectations for his foreign policy behaviour and performance, not merely American expectations.

I never seen a Nobel PEACE Prize winner start nor promote war.

I guess Barack Obama is now officially the prince of PEACE.

I know you think I dislike President Obama, Rasi. That is far from the truth. I just call it like I see it.

Peace
