Rastafari Speaks

Re: Disciples Of Maat
In Response To: Re: Disciples Of Maat ()

Greetings Seshata
The Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine (Shriners) is supposed to be an Arabic order with Islamic overtones. Hence its play on (corruption of) the Islamic flag of sun, moon, and stars. Not to mention the bastardization of Arabic, which none of them speak.

In reality, The foundation is Kemet/Afrika, hence the picture of the pharoah on the banner. Elijah Muhammad was once asked about the emblem. According to him, the sword, or scimitar, represented justice and was placed on the upper part of the flag so that the "unbeliever" could always see it and keep in mind that any time he reaveals the secret, his head would be taken off by the sword.

The way I see it is that the symbol of the sword decapitating the Afrikan shows how the foundation or head has been removed to undoubtedly be replaced by the weider of the sword. Another theft of a birthright...

... another stolen legacy.

Peace
