Doesn't this make you a little curious about Toumai?

I also find it interesting that scientists are now claiming that the earth experiences a global catastrophe approx. every eleven million years. If we travel back in time 11mya, we'll find ourselves smack-bang in the middle of the Miocene Epoch. Toumai, interestingly enough, is alive a mere four million years later, and very close to two of the locations of extensive volcanic activity, continental drifting, and collisions. Ofcourse if we continue to focus on the size of the human brain as an indicator of intelligence it will never occur to us that maybe along with the genes of our ancestors, we might have inherited some of their memories.
