Re - "...trust in the integrity of most so- called experts is misplaced".
Agreed.
Re - "The Ancestors", with so much /stories having been lost to all the ills of western civilisation, to me, now, it is those who have an ear will be told and hear and those with an eye will see and be shown. As always but even more so now. In my personal experiences, the Ancestors are manifested through a spiritual guide.
re - Landbridges. Europeans are still fighting over who landed in /colonised Australia first. The Dutch are now laying first dibs claim.
ANYWAY THAT IS ANOTHER STORY.
Basic European thinking was, until recently (with "new" understanding of historic sea level rises and climate change), "How did these people, the First peoples, arrive in Australia without our superior technology- boats and compasses etc?"
I will add greed, as the Dutch and the Portugese were only interested in collecting riches through trading in spices from the "Spice Islands". The Dutch ships were blown off corse by the prevailing westerlies and shipwrecked. The Portugese sailed down the east coast and mapped it, Captain cook used those maps.
This is an interesting website, I don't know if you have posted anything from it. There is much of interest on it.
the dailygalaxy.com... Does the earth have a 100,000 year climate change cycle? in case I didn't type in the long web address properly.
