The revolution will not be televised. I think the republicans who have successfully overtaken the tea parties for their own advantage are so confident that the anti-empire libertarian element that actually was the core component of the original tea parties during the Bush years is so drowned in the undercurrent of the overwhelming white entitlement mindset that naturally dovetails with militarism and against the "other" that they can get away with looking like "revolutionaries."
We see the flip side of the same coin that got so many so ecstatic at Obama's election - willing obfuscation of the facts on the ground. It's easy to look revolutionary when the system at the core is not questioned.
