Maybe Africans are murdered well before they can afford the luxury of death by suicide?
I'm not sure I understand the relevance of your response; Norwegians on average live thirty years longer than most continental Africans, is it your contention that an Octogenarian suicide is different (less admirable) than suicide or murder at fifty?
I also heard that alcoholism is a major problem in Norway, but is that any different from the rampant abuse of legal and illegal drugs in the U.S.? I'll bet however, that treatment is more accessible and available for the Norwegian Alcoholic than it is for the American drug addict.
