Neccesity should spawn ideology and not the other way around: The King-Drew Medical Center could be the first African-American owned co-operative medical facility. Many African-American men do not go to the doctor for lack of trust, does this not imply a need for an African-American owned and operated Medical Center for African-Americans? As the Montgomery Bus Boycott proved; African-Americans are only appreciated when they with hold their money from the American mainstream. King I believe was a champion of 'equal rights' not integration.
