You're still wondering, I would have thought it was obvious from the recent healthcare 'debates.' You would think that the ones shouting down healthcare/insurance reform would be a lot wiser considering the predominant age group, but what has become obvious is how privilege distorts the human psyche. All the talk of the national debt being left to their grand-children/great-grand-children and they cannot make the connection between their privilege and America's debt. No one has mentioned sacrifice. Remember the "sacrificial symphony" that is our Universe; yet the screaming middle-aged predominantly white middle-class Americans appear so completely out of touch.
