There are whites who carry the banner of “one love” in their pockets within Rastafari, ready to redeem that slogan as a ticket for spiritual admission to the collective Hearts and Minds of Afrikans/Asiatics/Blacks/Indigenous (or whatever term has been applied). It is prudent for them to claim such but only within the proper context. As racial oppression sensitive Rastas, some of us can sniff out racism and/or superiority within some posters’ wording. No matter how clever or articulate, no matter how courteous, no matter how “open-minded”, some are just unconsciously programmed with white and/or male superiority and know no other reality. White and Male superiority and Black and Female inferiority are unfortunately business as usual for many who have not meticulously challenged/questioned every area of their lives. Because if they had done such an examination, they would clearly and uncomparably see that the whole (so-called ‘civilized’) world is dominated and regulated by the tools, materiel and labor of the false white/male superiority infrastructure. So even if ones have been “oppressed by europeans also”, it does not come close to the institutional diabolical application of the destruction that has been done, is being done and will be done until our People wake up, unite and DECIDE to change their environments.

White on white destruction is a matter of class...ones can fake class...how would a dark-skinned, kinky-haired Afrikan/Black hide or fake their race?

Locks can be cut...suits can be worn...speech can be articulated...teeth can be whitened...funk can be bathed...brains can be washed...but dermal BLACKNESS remains...and ones of darkness were not given I.Q. tests or financial analysis to determine if they were to be oppressed/enslaved or not. The fact that there are whites who have been “oppressed also” just gives credence to the fact that the enemy of Blackness is the enemy to the Universe...SEEN!!! But let us not drop our pants and compare phallic dimensions. The evil deeds done by those whites first started with the downpression of Wombmen, BUT that downpression was only the blueprint to the con-struction of destruction to Blacks.

As ones reason on these boards and respond all huffy and puffy about a poster’s comments. Why not search yourself first to see if what they say is false...or does it just rattle the comfort level that you are accustomed to.

TRUTH only feels good in the long run...and to those who seek it and want to grasp it.

To be technical, Rastafari is NOT just a “Black thing”. However, BLACKNESS must be acknowledged, respected and grasped by EVERYONE in order to have any hope for the survival of homo-sapiens. Why do you think there was a Eucharist (the body and blood of KRST/Blackness) Why do certain ones sunbathe? Why is a suntan desirable?

ONE LOVE and BLACK LOVE are the same.
