Re: Mutilation Of African Women Genital Must Stop

Thanks for this article it is very clear that the cruel act of Female Genital Mutilation is still widely spread across Mama Africa, even as we struggle for African liberation for African people evrywhere. Iyinde, you are doing good works on behalf of the liberation of African people everywhere. African liberation should really begin, with the liberation of our African women and mothers, from the cruelties of Female Genital Mutilation. For how can we as African people, be agitating for the liberation of African people everywhere, when the following generations, who are supposed to replace us as leaders and liberators, are presently being enslaved, by the very wicked and cruel activities, of Female Genital Mutilation and brutalities. There are those who have already been brutailized over the past thousand years are there about, some of them have become mothers under very painful circumstances, and have mated under painful and difficult circumstances, and that is in the past, but please let us not continue to prolong, with this wicked and brutal slavetrading activity, among our blessed mothers of this great Creation.

Parents of today, should not submit their lovely girl children, to such a wicked and brutish act of Female Genital Mutilation, even if it is regarded as a religious or tribal tradition of your village. This is the ages when we as African people, must review all of the traditions which are being practiced in Mama Africa, and keep those which are good and helpful to our people, but those which are hurtful to our people, and have been hurtful for a very long time, must be removed, regardless of how long they have been in practice. We must never forget that Africa have been invaded and colonized by many nations over thwe past thousand years, and therefore, we have learned their various languages, and from their languages, we learned their bad habits and bad culture. The Arabs and their religion were also a part of that invasion, and they too enslaved our people, and passed on their very bad ways to our people. I also think that the Arabs are the people who brought in this wicked act of Female Genital Mutilation, trying to make sure that all young girls remain as virgin, so that when it was time for then to be raped, they would be virgins. So as I said before, we must take a very serious review of the traditions which are still being practiced by our people, and make sure that we abolish all of those traditions and pratices, which are hurtful to our people, and keep only those which are helpful to our people, as we live from day to day. Women are the mothers of all people upon the face of this earth, and they must be treated, with love, respect and greatfulness, as well as dignity and integrity as we live from day to day. I send and wish happiness to all mothers upon the face of this earth. Again I send many oceans of blessings and self determination to African people everywhere.
ONE BLACK LOVE ONE BLACK HEART
Baba Ras Marcus.
