No one or law , should stand in the way of love , regardless of skin colour of the individuals involved . The human rights of all must be respected , at all times , in this there can be no partiality .
Nevertheless those who chose to marry accross color line can not expect to be accepted as those who have'nt . In a world where those who oppress use color as a weapon of oppression it would be naive and careless not to be suspicious of those who chose to cross the color line . Once you have cross the line , your loyalty to one side or the other is in question or worst divided . As such the onus falls on those who have cross over to show their allegiance by their works and patience that they are undividedly on the side of Justice , Truth , Fairness and Right . For some this will not be enough , hence the need for patience . Many of us see the struggle as Black against white and not Right(justice) against wrong(injustice) .

I have seen the deep divide this arrangement can cause , in a Rasta community . The divide does not stop at the union of the individuals , it continues on thru their children , having to deal with the issue of colorism in the black family . As the oppressors use the children of such union to further drive division deeper in the black family by giving those of us who are half breeds an upper hand in their society , which leads to many mixed children believing that the oppressors are not as bad as they actually are . Even some begin to believe the lies about skin color and its relationship Intelligence and supposed superiority .

So the solution lies with both those who have cross over , and those who have not . Again the respondsible lies more heavily on those who have step over the racial line .
