InI must reopen this thread. It was very hot around March, 2005, but has now been closed; and as such is unavailable for further discussion. Beyond all of the racist talk spouted by Bantu Kelani, (who is obviously a hater, and NOT a Rastaman), and most of the ones who replied to him, lies the truth. I can answer that in one single word: LOVE! Yes, as simple and as powerful as that answer is, it is true. Black people, more than anyone else, have been given the first-hand experience that race and skin color do not make an individual who he/she is, and stereotypes of this nature can't work. It's a test to see if one is looking with the eyes of love or not. Rastas are ones who have passed the test! InI don't see the outward appearance, but look upon the heart. This is the Christed consciousness that is now being manifest on Earth.
It has always been taboo for black men and white women to mate; first in white society, and then today in black culture. This doesn't change the undeniable afinity and attraction that is there for the individuals who see only love and oneness.
The ones making these harsh judgements on black
RastafarI brothers and the white women (many of whom also love His Imperial Majesty!) should instead examine their own hearts. And ask why it is that the free choice of others bothers them so. Does it not say more about the state of their own heart? Judge not that you be not judged. Inna dis yah I-wah JAH looks pon de heart, not de skin mi brother!! As a white Rastawoman with a deep love of His Majesty, Who called InI to know H.I.M.
InI know that I am throwing Iself to the dogs, here. InI see the bias and the motivation of the ones who run this site. This is a test from the Most High of your purity and purpose in being here. Can you sight up JAH in every name and form? If not, you are not a Rasta. And so you know not, neither do you overstand. One Love, One Heart, One People, One Destiny.
