One can make excuses for any man's action. We make excuses for Haile Selassie because we are Rasta Fari-ans.
I would like to see one man ever in history who did not have a critic.
Perhaps we should be looking at the greater truth which Haile Selassie stands for in a mystical sense, instead of dwelling on the he said she said. I am talking of course of the King of I and I temple - the guiding light of the micro and macro of the cosmos - which can be dealt with when one meets the Most High at the threshold of character development and self-knowledge. I and I.
When one is dealing with things on this higher level - the fixation is no longer on the symbol, but the TRUTH which the symbol alludes to.
Rastafari.
