It has been my experience that many people who claim to embrace Selassie do not have much awareness of other African figures who did much to advance humanity. Many are even unaware of the many figures that fought for the liberation of African people. So in light of that, I am asking (in a general way) if people are aware of the basis for upholding Selassie as a special hero with the status of absolute divinity.

How would 'Rastas' have viewed HIM if they were not colonized and Christianized?

Would he be getting more attention than other African figures given what he actually did regardless of how many speeches he gave?

Is a lineage to Solomon the pinnacle of our African ancestry?

And how does having that lineage make someone special?
