Rootsie, Give Thanks for the response...I appreciate it. My own experience bears similarities, however, while drawing some inspiration from the Rastafari movement, I do not identify mySelf as a Rastafarian; I agree in that it would be inappropriate.
What do you think of performing an austerity for the sake of asceticism? In your own experience did you not ever reach a point at which your locks where no longer just a way to identify with other peoples and/or a movement?
