Don't judge all Rasta by fools like this one.
Certainly there are people who have been healed by ganja (or with the aid of ganja). It is recognised as an effective treatment for glaucoma amongst other things.
It could be argued that endlessly thinking about complicated conspiracy theories without lifting a finger to attempt to affect change in the real world around you is a "pacifist-sedative" or whatever term you used. For eg., I doubt you picked up the phone and made that brief phone call on behalf of Leonard Peltier that I posted about below. Although I would be very happy if you were to prove me wrong.
By the way I am not saying that ganja use is always positive, or that ganja cannot be misused/over-used (and is often misused/over-used), or that Ayinde and others may not be right when they say that ganja could be an impediment to achieving a permanent "natural high".
What I am saying is that, to I, your statement there comes across as another example of your "I'm-more-enlightened-than-you-primitive-caribbean-hebrew-followists", based on your mistaken preconceptions of what you think more "traditional" Rastafari people in the caribbean tend to deal with.
I also noticed that in your other comment about a meaning of "high", you SEEMED TO I to be only referring to YOU getting "the truth" out of someone else's layer of lies, not anyone else getting at truth out of YOUR layer of lies. But maybe I am misinterpreting that statement. Perhaps I should re-read it before posting, as I am relying on my memory from reading it yesterday, but as that would entail re-writing this whole post and I've got to go to work now, I won't bother, so apologies in advance if I have totally distorted your position on that... but that's what it seemed like to me, from my memory of it.
