You are not your name so it really doesnt matter that much what you call yourself.People are only changing words to emphasise different meaning.So...yes,in essence it is fairly thin to talk about the 'right words' but what is probably being said is that the main stream generic ideas/attittudes to Ganja are not in alignment with Rastafari peoples veiw on herb.Simple.
Simple fact is, that of those people, who smoke, eat consume herb/ganja(or botanically...a weed, whatever)some of them have an affinity with this plant and beleive it helps them with their lives in some way.In terms of specific types of focus ect. I can testify that it had helped at a point in my life. This cannot be validated or invalidated.No-one here can validate their spiritual experiences...its an impossibility.
If you have made up your mind about what herb is and how it is not of benefit or that you think there are greater benefits from other ways of life/practice/ritual....great.Why ask questions then? Is'nt that like entering a conversation with a false question, when you have allready made up your mind?On the other hand could it be a little like coming up to someone and making the statement of I dont think herb smoking is of benefit and i think you're putting up a smoke screen to things youre not willing to face...What I normally say to a seeming approach such as that is...'so...so you think that, great....now what?'
Where can a conversation go if you have allready made up your mind and then start asking questions? Are you doing it(asking questions)to try and steer or lead the conversation(which doesnt seem like a conversation to me)or are you open to altering your own perceptions? If you ask for 'the benefit of others' then maybe be a little more specific with the questions...no?Break it down a little.I am asking you...Ayinde.
More life,bless...
