We have had several discussions about marijuana on this forum, and although some exchanges got heated, it appeared that those involved in the discussions understood that because marijuana is illegal, certain areas such as cultivation would be best dealt with elsewhere.
On this thread, I was attempting to offer another way of addressing the issue that could be legally defended and considerate of a wider audience.
Another part of the marijuana issue that is not often discussed openly and honestly is that this substance has been part of the attraction of Whites to Rastafari. As Whites imitate Rastafari, it offers them a way to validate their attempts at getting high through smoking. Whites smoking and interacting with Rastafarians permits them a way to feel included without ever doing the work to correct deep-seated attitudes while allowing them another area to assert dominance and play out their defiance games.
