For all of you trying to cast doubt upon the Torah on strenght of "contradictions" due to the commandment "Thou shald not kill" and the call for the death penalty for NUMEROUS (to say the least) offenses, you should all know that "THOU SHALT NOT KILL" is the King James mistranslation. Check the Hebrew doctrine and overstand. "THOU SHALT NOT MURDER" was what Hashem said unto Moses. What is MURDER you ask? Murder is unjustifiable homicide, i.e. killing for reasons other than what Hashem specifically commands you to take life for, such as the death penalty laws in the Torah, or as Hashem commanded Joshua and the Israelites to kill everyone in every city they conquered.
