So the slave owners that treated their slaves well can't be compared with the owners which whipped theirs?

OPPRESSION IS OPPRESSION

and it does seem that you are trying to make slavery in Africa seem almost O.K. because they allowed them to marry and keep their religion.

I think most would say----"I would rather live like a freeman in my grave than like a puppet or a slave."
