actually according to some historical interpreters the aryans who invaded india from the north overthrew the existing civilization there and then implemented a new system with them at the top and all the others below - solidified in the caste system, one of the most rigid human hierarchies, sanctified by religion that has ever existed. that is why i think the study of the persians(aryans) and their world view is essential to this discussion. we do see a common thread if the persians influenced(or were of the same group as the "israelites") - monotheists and on another front aryans invaded and set up a hierarchy after conquering the more settled inhabitants in india. this is after all where the nazis got their swastika from - looking into the roots of the "aryan" race and finding a common thread with the vedics.
