Re: The"Get 2 know InI Afrikan Story"Quizz 18th ja

1) First there are some who call themselves Selassieans. I read an interview with Tony Rebel where he says such.

My speculations include these possibilities: (1) Howell and other early Rasta leaders perhaps started formulating their ideas before Selassie I was crowned with that title.
(2) It simply rolls easier off the tongue?
(3) There is a mystical power to that word that hearkens back thousands of years to Khemet and those places? I have heard that there was a very similar word back then, referring to Ra and others?
(4) As a god with a small g, it is most appropriate for man and woman to give themselves the title of prince, rather than the title of emperor?

(2) The answer is Anansi the spider-man. In some places she's a spider-woman, in some places it ain't a spider it's a tortoise or a hare (that's where Brer Rabbit comes from). Anansi's strong point is his cunning and resourcefulness, his weak point is his physical weakness and extreme greed.

(3) All I can say is I'm pretty sure its not Cleopatra. Will have to do some searching!

Give thanks for the quizzes!
