*UNIVERSAL RASTAFARI*

I think as we learn more about history, we find that human kind has a common origin in inner Africa and the Nile Valley. From this knowledge, one finds that the archetype for all religion, civilization, etc. rests in this area and with these original people. This explains the many commonalities cross-culturally throughout the world.

On a certain level, Rastafari calls us ALL back as human beings to that common origin, to remember where we all come from, to once again find some sort of unity. The name Haile Selassie means Power of the Trinity, which explained structurally in the triangle is the rectification of 2 opposing points in a 3rd commonality. It is the rediscovery of the monad after the illusion of division. Perhaps I tend to take things a bit deeper and esoterically than some, but this is the way - knowing myself, that this all makes sense to I.

I feel that in this aspect, all can tap into Rastafari regardless of background if one chooses to do so. Another common thread which all can tap into is the path toward knowing thyself which is explained in the simplicity of the reality of I and I - God in Man. This is the ancient trod that the character of Jesus alludes to(though present thousands of years before in the Nile Valley civilizations from which Christianity owes its ideas to).

I would appreciate if ones could add onto this thread to explain the particularity of the emergence of Rastafari and its particular usefullness as a tool towards the realization of Marcus Garvey's goal of Africa for the Africans. I feel that it is in THIS area that there is a difference of application for Africans in the diaspora specifically that ones of other backgrounds cannot fully grasp and should be focussing on as it pertains to their place within this struggle SPECIFICALLY which Rastafari finds its modern roots in.

Give thanks.
