Repatriation Forum

Re: to ayinde
In Response To: to ayinde ()

I don't know Ayinde personally but I do not think he is any kind of devilish entity "whose sole purpose is to divide YHVH children."
From reading his posts I think he is a sincere African souljah who also has problems as we all do whether or not he wants to acknowledge that.
Many of his posts I find very insightful and informative.
Others (or sometimes the same posts) I find pedantic and disrespectful (I refer especially to a certain snide and condescending comment made to one of the reallest and most intelligent people on this board, 'diyouth', under the thread about repatriation- perhaps I misinterpreted the comment, if so my apologies to Ayinde).
Also I notice that Ayinde and the other S.E.L.F. people who volunteer their time to help run this board and others, never seem to demonstrate a sense of humor. This is not to say that they don't have one, just that it is conspicuously not evident. I would think that people who were pursuing conscious developement to their higher self would have a highly developed sense of humor. Personally if my higher self does not have a sense of humor, I'm not interested in meeting him.
Also, while I agree with many, perhaps most, of the positions taken by the S.E.L.F. folks, I feel the way that they are presented leaves much to be desired. Ayinde, Yan, Tyehimba- you always seem to use the same catchphrases in your posts and responses to people, it is virtually guaranteed that in any given post from the three of you one could find the following words: "conduct" (often paired with "poor"), "informed persons", "conscious self-development". Having worked for a community organization for many years I understand the importance of 'soundbite' type phrases repeated often when trying to get across your point of view to say, a media outlet that is trying to divert you with irrelevant questions. On a forum like this, it just looks weird, like y'all have one group mind or something.
I'll probably say more at a later date, leave it at that for now...
